Alt-folk duo Shovels & Rope are hitting the road for a unique stint of U.S. shows this fall. The tour, which includes dates in Cleveland, New Orleans, and a two-night stop in Chicago, will give fans the chance to hear the Americana Music Award-winning act’s songs in a new way.
“NOV/DEC dates coming in hot! And by hot, I mean stripped down and intimate,” a post on the band’s official Instagram account reads. “These are gonna be a blast, so let’s ease into the winter together, shall we? Let’s get intimate.”
The brief fall trek kicks off on November 18 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and rolls on until December 11, where they’ll perform their final live set of 2025 in New Orleans. The project of personal and creative partners Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst, the husband-and-wife duo has kept a steady presence on the road in recent months following the release of their 2024 album, Something Is Working Up Above My Head.
Tickets for all newly confirmed dates, which are listed below, will go on sale this Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can find more information on available pre-sale opportunities and ticketing options by visiting Shovels & Rope’s official website.
