Barnburner is the brainchild of music journalist Lorie Liebig. Officially launched on April 1, 2025, the independently owned online magazine and brand was created to help keep in-depth editorial coverage alive within the music industry. Based in Nashville, Barnburner offers a progressive and inclusive perspective without limitations defined by genre.
