This year marks the 25th anniversary of Austin City Limits Festival, and the beloved two-weekend event has recruited an eclectic mix of artists for the celebration. Charli XCX, Lorde, Rüfüs Du Sol, Twenty One Pilots, and The XX are among this year’s roster of headliners, which was unveiled today (May 5).
Rock band Kings of Leon will also serve as headliners during the festival’s first weekend, Oct. 2-4, while alt-pop DJ Skrillex will take over that slot for weekend two, which is set for Oct. 9-11.
Held at Zilker Park near downtown Austin, Texas, the Austin City Limits Festival’s roster of artists also includes Turnstile, Lola Young, Geese, Bleachers, Young Miko, Jesse Welles, Houndmouth, Natasha Bedingfield, CMAT, Rebecca Black, and a mysterious first weekend solo set from The Killers’ frontman, Brandon Flowers. Fans can choose from multiple ticketing options for the festival, including three-day general admission, VIP, and Platinum options, as well as hotel packages. Those options will go on sale today at 12 p.m. CT. Children under 8 can enter the festival free of charge. One-day-only tickets will be available for purchase at a later date to be announced.
