Portland’s beloved Pickathon has revealed this year’s roster of performers, and it’s an impressive mix of established greats alongside rising artists. The event has separated its lineup into two groups: headlining “legends” and burgeoning “discovery artists,” resulting in an eclectic blend of acts set to appear during the four-day event.
Steve Earle, Shakey Graves, and Built to Spill are among this year’s highlighted legends, alongside Alela Diane, Marcos Valle, Acid King, Meridian Brothers, and Mexican Institute of Sound. The lengthy list of discovery artists includes Caitlin Canty, Briscoe, Hudson Freeman, Folk Bitch Trio, Ken Pomeroy, Boy Golden, Friendship, Hannah Juanita, and many more. A full list of confirmed acts is below. Additional artists are expected to be added in the coming weeks.
“In an era of increasingly corporate music festivals, Pickathon remains proudly independent and deeply intentional,” festival founder Zale Schoenborn shares in a press release. “We don’t book artists because they’re obvious and everywhere. We book them because they’re pointing to what’s next, and over 26 years we’ve built a community that trusts in the Pickathon process.”
Pickathon 2026 will be held July 30-Aug. 2 at Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, Ore. Spanning over 80 acres, the festival offers music fans the perfect setting to enjoy sets from must-hear new voices before they break into the mainstream.
