Just days after sharing details of their upcoming studio album, Franz Ferdinand have confirmed their first set of North American headlining shows for 2025. Announced today (Sept. 24), the 12-date stretch will take the indie rock outfit across the U.S. and Canada next spring.

The tour will kick off on March 24 with a stop in Seattle before continuing on to San Francisco, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Boston, among other U.S. cities. They’ll make their way to Canada to wrap things up with a performance in Montreal before wrapping things up in Toronto on April 15.

Those in attendance will hear tracks from the band’s newly announced sixth record, The Human Fear, which is set for release on Jan. 10 via Domino. With the LP’s unabashed lead single, “Audacious,” Franz Ferdinand delivered fans a preview of their next creative effort. Band members Alex Kapranos (vocals/guitar), Bob Hardy (bass), Audrey Tait (drums), Dino Bardot (guitar/backing vocals), and Julian Corrie (keyboards/guitar/backing vocals) have continued to build upon the stylized, pop-infused indie rock sound that has captivated listeners since earning their first global hit with “Take Me Out” in 2004.

Tickets will be available through a limited fan pre-sale beginning Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. ET. A general on sale for all dates, which are listed below, will follow this Friday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. ET.
