With her powerful and unfiltered new single “Anymore,” rising singer-songwriter CLOVER finds strength in letting go. Released today (May 1), the track acts as a lyrical proclamation of independence, building space to allow the complicated process of starting anew from a safe distance.
“I wrote ‘Anymore’ the day my dad went to jail,” CLOVER shares in a statement. “I woke up and my heart immediately sank. I was sad, afraid, and angry. I had spent years being there for him and trying to help him shift the trajectory of his life, but no matter what I said, the downward spiral continued. However, this time something had shifted within me. For the first time, I was putting up boundaries. It was so damn hard. How do you push someone you love away, even when you know it’s absolutely necessary?
“‘Anymore’ is everything I had come to terms with within myself,” she continues. “It’s the truth and it’s raw. It’s my declaration of surrendering the weight of someone else’s problems. It’s my path to freedom.”

“Anymore” is the third pre-release single from CLOVER’s upcoming EP, Atlas, set for release on May 30. Engineered and produced by John Rooney at New York City’s famed Electric Lady Studios, the 5-track project promises to be an intriguing, fresh blend of modern pop, vintage soul, and timeless indie folk.
Atlas marks an important milestone in the New Jersey native’s still-early career, which kicked off with the release of her debut 2020 single, “This Love.” A vocal activist and familiar presence within the Philadelphia and New York City music scenes, CLOVER is an artist well-positioned to become a breakout artist uncontained by state or genre lines.
