Béla Fleck & The Flecktones are reuniting for a special set of headlining shows coming to a city near you this holiday season. The band’s upcoming Jingle All the Way Tour will feature a setlist filled with cuts from their 2008 Grammy Award-winning Christmas album, along with gems from throughout their extensive career.
The trek begins with two nights at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on November 26 and 28 and includes stops in Portland, Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, and Chicago. The 21-date tour will come to a close on December 20 with a performance at Joy Theater in New Orleans.
The band’s original lineup—comprised of Béla Fleck (banjo), Howard Levy (piano/harmonica), Victor Wooten (bass), and Roy “Future Man” Wooten (drums/percussion)—will take the stage together for the first time in 15 years. The Flecktones’ former saxophonist Jeff Coffin and the throat-singer ensemble, Alash, both of whom were featured artists on Jingle All the Way, will also appear as special guests on all dates.
“Christmas music is inside everyone’s DNA,” Fleck shares in a statement. “Jingle All the Way is an open doorway for listeners to understand the Flecktones’ music.”
