Indie rock outfit Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have unveiled an extensive 2025 headlining tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed self-titled debut album.

The lengthy stretch of shows begins on Jan. 31 with a performance in Washington D.C. and continues on to venues in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York City. They’ll wrap up their North American leg with a hometown performance in Philadelphia on May 10 before heading overseas for stops in Belgium, Ireland, France, England, Australia and New Zealand.

Originally released on June 28, 2005, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah was quickly embraced by music critics and bloggers, elevating them from a small DIY band to a commercially friendly indie rock success story. The eclectic 12-track record, penned by frontman and founding member Alec Ounsworth, will also be reissued on vinyl in early 2025 via Secretly Distribution. To coincide with these special announcements, the band has also shared their original version of the album track “Heavy Metal.”

According to press materials, additional dates in Europe, Japan, Central America and South America are scheduled to be announced in the coming weeks. A full list of tour stops is listed below. Tickets for all dates will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. You can find additional information on the tour and ticketing options by visiting Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s official website.
