Two of Texas’ most recognizable modern voices are teaming up for a must-see co-headlining tour this summer. Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett will embark on The Crooner & The Cowboy Tour, beginning with a previously confirmed June 5 stop at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Following a brief break, the pair will make their way to cities across the U.S. and Canada, including Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Toronto, Charleston, and Birmingham, before returning to their home state for a final bow at the Moody Center in Austin on September 23.
While attendees will be treated to full-length sets from Bridges and Crockett individually, we’re also crossing our fingers for some surprise duets from the award-winning talents. Music fans will also hear sets from Noeline Hofmann, Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Reyna Tropical, and Honky Tonkin’ In Queens, who will serve as support on select dates.
On March 14, Crockett released Lonesome Drifter, his first full-length release with Island Records. He and Bridges, whose 2024 album, Leon, is thematically centered around his experience growing up in Fort Worth, have built a close friendship through the years. Their shared love for music and The Lone Star State helped forge a unique bond, one guaranteed to make these limited shows especially unforgettable.
A batch of special presales for The Crooner & The Cowboy Tour began today, March 25, and have a limited amount of tickets still available. A general on-sale will follow this Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. local time. You can find more information on the tour, including ticketing options, by visiting thecroonerandthecowboy.com.
One dollar from each ticket purchased for the tour will be donated to Bridges’ charity, The Big Good, which strives to “raise awareness and charitable contributions for partner organizations addressing critical unmet needs in the Fort Worth community.”
