We’re only a few months away from the holiday season, and Trisha Yearwood wants to be the soundtrack for all your good tidings. Today (Sept. 10), she shared details of her upcoming album, Christmastime, set for release on Nov. 7 via Virgin Music Group and Gwendolyn Records,
The 12-track record marks the multi-platinum country artist’s first holiday-themed LP since Christmas Together, her collaborative album with husband and fellow hitmaker Garth Brooks, which arrived in 2016. Produced by Don Was and arranged by composer David Campbell, Christmastime offers fans Yearwood’s unique take on seasonal classics, along with a few new original tracks.
To coincide with the release, she’ll hit the road for a set of holiday-themed shows with local symphonies across the U.S. this December. Christmastime with Trisha Yearwood: 12 Days of Christmas Tour will make its way to 11 cities, beginning with two nights at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville on Dec. 2 and 3.
“Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of year, and these songs mean so much to me,” Yearwood shares in a statement. “To be able to perform them with a full symphony brings the magic to another level. I can’t wait to share this music and celebrate the season with fans on tour.”
