There’s a good chance the weather is still plenty steamy where you are, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays. In fact, Sufjan Stevens has already gifted us with something to look forward to later this year, aside from cooler temperatures.
Set for release on Nov. 6, Worst Christmas Ever! is a new compilation album featuring 15 holiday-centric tracks from throughout the singer-songwriter’s career. Known for his extensive list of Christmas originals and covers, Stevens offers up a curated mix of longtime favorites like “Put the Lights on the Tree,” his take on the seasonal classic “Silver Bells,” along with the previously unheard track “On This Christmas (It Only Gets Better).”
Fans can pre-order Worst Christmas Ever! on CD, vinyl, and cassette now via Asthmatic Kitty Records. If you’re itching to complete some early Christmas shopping, you can also snag holiday-themed Sufjan merch, including wrapping paper, mugs, air fresheners, and more.
