Eclectic indie rock group Lord Huron will mark a career milestone next year by hitting the road for a string of special live shows. Today (Oct. 28), the band confirmed a brief U.S. tour celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their sophomore album, Strange Trails.
The trek begins on May 22 with a performance in Reno, Nev. and includes stops in Montana, Idaho, and Utah before a final set in Denver on June 1. Los Angeles-based musician Molly Lewis will serve as support on select dates of the tour. Released on April 7, 2015, Strange Trails debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Folk Albums chart and continued the success sparked by their acclaimed debut LP, 2012’s Lonesome Dreams. The record, which offered a unique blend of dreamy folk, rock, and pop elements, spawned the platinum-certified single, “The Night We Met.”
Lord Huron’s newly announced tour will follow a lengthy set of support dates on Kacey Musgraves’ ongoing Deeper Well World Tour. Those appearances are set to begin on Nov. 7 in Toronto and continue across the U.S. through Dec. 7.
Fans interested in purchasing tickets for the Strange Trails 10th anniversary tour can now sign up for access to an artist pre-sale, which will begin on Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. local time. A general on-sale will follow this Friday, Nov. 1, also at 10 a.m. local time. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
