Accomplished poet, activist, and musician Ani DiFranco will hit the road for an additional slate of live shows promoting her 2024 album, Unprecedented Sh!t.
The new stretch of dates spans from late August to mid-September, with Hurray for the Riff Raff supporting the first nine dates, and Tune-Yards stepping in as the opening act on the four remaining tour stops.
“Nothing heals my soul like music. And more specifically – making music in the company of other badasses,” DiFranco shares in a statement. “What a total joy it’s gonna be to share the stage with both Hurray for the Riff Raff and Tune-Yards this summer! I couldn’t be looking forward to it more.”
“Ani gave me my first glimpse into what it might mean to spit fire, to sing like my life depended on it,” Tune-Yards’ Merrill Garbus reflects. “To be a joyful girl who was also allowed her rage. It means so much in this moment in history to be on these stages with her, to be part of this bitchin’ lineage with her, to spit fire together and together keep the fire burning bright.”
These new performance dates add to an already packed 2025 touring schedule for DiFranco, who has stayed busy on the road following the May 17, 2024, release of Unprecedented Sh!t. Many of her upcoming shows scheduled at venues across the U.S., U.K., and Europe from April to July have already sold out.
Fans have their best chance to snag tickets to DiFranco’s newly-announced tour, which are listed below, by accessing an artist pre-sale that begins Tuesday, April 1, at 10 a.m. local time.
