Three of mainstream country music’s most popular acts have tied for the most nominations at this year’s CMA Awards. Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, and Ella Langley are each up for six trophies, leading the fairly predictable roster of nominees that was revealed earlier today (September 8) via livestream by the Country Music Association.
Zach Top trailed just behind the top-nominated trio, earning a spot in five categories this year, including New Artist of the Year. Riley Green and Cody Johnson each earned four nominations, while multiple award-winners Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs both snagged three nominations individually.
“Each year, the CMA Awards shine a light on the creativity, passion, and dedication of our community,” Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, says in a statement. “The nominees announced today represent some of the most impactful work happening across Country Music, and we are deeply appreciative of our voting members for lending their time and expertise to this process. Their commitment helps ensure the CMA Awards remain a true reflection of the genre’s excellence. On behalf of CMA, congratulations to all of this year’s nominees.”
The 59th Annual CMA Awards will air live on Wednesday, November 19, on ABC and will be available to stream the next day exclusively via Hulu. You can view the complete list of CMA Awards 2025 categories and nominations below:
