It’s been two years since Jason Isbell‘s hand-curated ShoalsFest has summoned music fans to Florence, Alabama for a weekend of fun, but that’s all about to change. On October 11-12, the eclectic two-day festival will make its long-awaited return to McFarland Park for its fourth year.

Isbell, who just released his solo acoustic album Foxes in the Snow on March 7, again collaborated with his manager Traci Thomas and Outback Presents to curate this year’s roster of performers. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Jackson Browne, indie darlings MJ Lenderman and Waxahatchee, Muscle Shoals’ legends Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham, and celebrated singer-songwriter and producer Garrison Starr will take the stage during this year’s festivities.

Attendees will also be treated to two sets from Isbell: one with his band, the 400 Unit, along with a special acoustic “in the round” set alongside Patterson Hood and Chris Tompkins.

For those in search of some family-friendly entertainment, magician Steve Trash will be on hand to entertain and educate children about the importance of protecting our environment.

Launched in 2019, ShoalsFest was created by Isbell as a way to celebrate and give back to the Muscle Shoals region. The festival grounds are located just a few miles from the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studios and FAME Studios, where Isbell worked during his teenage years.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring back ShoalsFest for 2025,” shares Isbell. “The lineup is going to be incredible, and I love having the opportunity to play a hometown show and bring world-class artists to the Shoals.”

Alabama residents can purchase their tickets via a special locals-only, in-person sale to be held at Rocker Gallery in Sheffield, Alabama, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT. During the one-day-only sale, residents who present an Alabama driver’s license can purchase 4-day general admission tickets for $75, with a limit of 4 tickets per customer. A public on-sale for general admission and VIP passes will follow, beginning Friday, April 11 at 10 a.m. CT.

ShoalsFest 2025 Artist Lineup:

  • Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit
  • Jackson Browne
  • Waxahatchee
  • MJ Lenderman
  • “In The Round” with Jason Isbell, Patterson Hood & Chris Tompkins
  • Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham
  • Garrison Starr
  • Steve Trash
