Australia’s own Parcels have shared the latest indie-pop gem off their upcoming third studio album, LOVED. Released today (August 1), “Summerinlove” is a laid-back, bittersweet ode to a past relationship that you aren’t quite ready to let go of.
“‘Summerinlove’ is a nostalgic memory and a yearning for a past love that hopefully will return,” the band shares of the track in a statement. “It was written from the post-break-up period where you’re in denial, hoping for the relationship to continue in the future when really it’s over. The track was recorded live in Golden Retriever studios in Sydney, Australia.”
“I better ask you / Is this enough? / Am I in love? / If this is enough for you too / We might not be through,” they ask in the song’s groovy, reflective chorus.
“Summerinlove” is the latest pre-release cut shared from LOVED, an LP made in collaboration with Bose and NME C25, which is due out on September 12.
Following a buzzworthy set at Glastonbury Festival 2025 in June, Parcels will embark on their first-ever arena tour, which kicks off on October 14 in Los Angeles. Tickets for all upcoming headline dates, which are listed below, are on sale now. You can find more information about the shows and explore ticketing options at Parcels’ official website.
