Indie music history was made in 1996, the year that Belle and Sebastian released two iconic albums: Tigermilk and If You’re Feeling Sinister. Those two records, which have influenced new generations of artists over the past three decades, will be celebrated with a very special anniversary tour next year.
The celebrated Scottish group will embark on an extensive international tour, playing two dates in each city. Those in attendance on the first night will be treated to Tigermilk in its entirety, while If You’re Feeling Sinister will be performed during the next evening’s set. It will be a rare treat to hear these two definitive records from the live stage, 30 years after their release, which means tickets are likely to move fast.
Following a stretch of European and U.K. shows next Spring, Belle and Sebastian will head to North America for stops in Mexico City, Boston, New York City, Toronto, Chicago, and more. The tour will come to a close with hometown shows in Glasgow on June 26 and 27.
You can snag tickets for all dates listed below during a limited presale beginning Wednesday, August 20, at 10 a.m. local time, ahead of a general on-sale this Friday, August 22. Fans can find more information on the live shows and pre-sale opportunities by visiting Belle and Sebastian’s official website.
