Captivating singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt has confirmed an intimate acoustic tour in support of her expanded album Mantras (Deluxe), which arrived in February. The 16-date trek, titled the Time Wasn’t Wasted Tour, will kick off on September 4 in Decatur, Georgia, and stop at venues across the U.S. through the end of October.
She’ll be joined by fellow Nashville-based songsmith Jess Nolan on select dates of the special run of shows, which wrap up on October 25 in Woodstock, New York. Attendees will get a unique opportunity to hear stripped-down cuts from the Georgia-born talent’s latest album, which delivers raw, reflective lyricism that cuts deep.
“One of the big themes of this record is the idea of building a home inside yourself rather than seeking it in others,” Pruitt shared of Mantras ahead of the record’s release. “Over the past couple years, I’ve tried to change the way I speak to myself and turn my negative internal dialogue into a kinder voice because that ends up influencing everything: the kindness starts with us and ripples outward into the world. Mantras is about finding that light within ourselves instead of falling into the trap of chasing validation from our parents or friends or religion or social media.”
Tickets for all upcoming tour stops listed below are on sale now. You can find more information on the shows and ticketing options by visiting Katie Pruitt’s official website.
