It has been two decades since The Fray broke into the mainstream with their heartfelt hit debut album, How to Save a Life. Later this year, the accomplished pop-rock group will celebrate this special career anniversary with an extensive international tour.

On Tuesday (February 18), the band revealed plans to embark on their How to Save a Life: The 20th Anniversary Tour, which will kick off on July 25 in Dallas. The lengthy set of dates stretches across the U.S. and includes stops in Nashville, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles through the end of the summer.

After a brief break, lead vocalist Joe King, guitarist Dave Welsh, and drummer Ben Wysocki will head overseas for 14 more show dates, wrapping up their anniversary celebration on November 22 in Dublin.

Los Angeles rock group The Strike will serve as direct support for all U.S. headlining shows, with Landon Barker appearing on select dates. The opening acts for all international performances are still to be announced.

Released on September 15, 2005, How to Save a Life spawned two international hit singles—”Over My Head (Cable Car)” and “How to Save a Life”—and earned double-platinum certification from the RIAA.

“We wrote songs in our parents’ basements and our grandpa’s barn, dreaming of playing our music with the world one day. We never imagined that the songs from How to Save a Life would still hold new meaning 20 years later,” lead vocalist Joe King shares in a statement. “It’s an incredible honor to celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary on tour this summer. We can’t wait to perform these songs and share their stories with you. Come sing with us—we’ll see you soon!”

A general pre-sale for all non-festival dates listed below will begin this Friday, February 21, at 10 a.m. local time. Special VIP packages, including exclusive merch and meet-and-greet access, will also be available. Fans can find more information on the tour and ticketing options by visiting The Fray’s official website.
