Indie folk band The Head and the Heart will mark 15 years since the release of their excellent self-titled debut album with a special anniversary tour later this year. The slate of U.S. dates, which feature Seattle-based group The Brudi Brothers as support, will give attendees the chance to hear The Head and the Heart’s 2011 Platinum-certified LP in its entirety.
The tour will begin on May 1 with a performance in Nashville, Ind., and includes stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Milwaukee, Charlottesville, and more, before wrapping up with a set in Boston on May 14. Along with all 10 tracks from The Head and the Heart, including fan favorites “Rivers and Roads” and “Lost in My Mind,” the band will perform selected tracks plucked from throughout their six-album discography.
“It’s wild that we will be celebrating 15 years of our first record this spring,” band member Charity Rose Thielen shares in a statement. “We are so lucky to have had the stars align, meeting one another and creating art in those early days – we are looking forward to reflecting and celebrating the moments of coming together for the first time in real time with all of you! It’s going to be a show unlike anything we’ve ever done. We are also so grateful and feel that the stars have aligned with having the Brudi Brothers out opening up each show in these intimate theater settings ! See you this spring!!!!”

A general on-sale for all dates listed below will begin this Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. local time. Multiple presale opportunities will be held earlier in the week, beginning with an artist-exclusive presale starting Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 9 a.m. local time. Fans can access a unique code for presale entry via the band’s official app. You can find more information about the tour and ticketing options by visiting The Head and the Heart’s official website.
