Fans across the U.S. and Canada will have more opportunities to catch The Wombats live on stage later this year. Today (September 4), they announced an extensive new headlining tour that will take the indie rock band to 19 cities in North America.
The trek will begin on October 15 in Seattle and includes stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Austin, Washington D.C., Chicago, and two consecutive nights in Toronto. They’ll wrap things up with a final stop in Boston on November 14, marking the end of an incredibly busy year for the Liverpool-born outfit.
The Wombats have kept a steady presence on the road in recent months following the release of their sixth studio album, Oh! The Ocean, which dropped on February 14 via AWAL. Produced by John Congleton and recorded in Los Angeles, the stellar 12-track LP blends reflective lyricism with the bold, infectious rock soundscape that has consistently drawn in listeners for over a decade.
Tickets for all newly announced dates listed below are on sale now. You can find more information about the tour and ticketing options by visiting The Wombats’ official website.
