In just a few hours, Ringo Starr will celebrate his 86th birthday, and he’s marking that impressive life milestone by announcing a brand new tour. The influential musician will be joined by his All Starr Band for a slate of headlining shows at venues across the East Coast later this year.
The stretch of fall tour dates begins with a performance in Easton, Pa., on Sept. 24, and includes later stops in Washington, D.C., Boston, and New York City. Starr will be joined by his longtime bandmates Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, Hamish Stuart, and Buck Johnson. Fans can expect to hear cuts from throughout the former Beatles drummer’s lengthy career, including tracks off his most recent record, the country-focused Long Long Road.
“We just finished a Spring tour which ended at the Greek,” Starr shared in a statement. “It was all so great – the audiences were so loving, and I just love playing with this band. I’m really looking forward to these Fall shows. See you in September – Peace and love, Ringo.”
Tickets for all dates listed below will go on sale this Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. ET. You can find more information about the shows and explore ticketing options by visiting Ringo Starr’s official website.
