Earlier this summer, Wynonna Judd shared details of her upcoming album and first full-length solo project in a decade. Today (Aug. 3), the influential artist revealed she’ll be hitting the road in support of the record this fall.
The Hard Truth Tour, named after the LP set for release on Oct. 2 via ANTI- Records, will take her to venues across the U.S. from early October to late November of this year. The trek, which includes stops in New York City, St. Louis, Houston, and Tampa, will offer fans their first chances to hear tracks from Judd’s raw and immensely personal album in person.
“As we were making this record, I kept finding myself thinking about you,” shares Judd. “Every song we recorded, every story we told… I couldn’t help but wonder what it would feel like to stand onstage and share it with you face to face. That’s the wonderful thing about music. A song may start in a writing room or a studio, but it doesn’t really come alive until it’s shared,” she continues. “The Hard Truth holds some of the most honest moments I’ve ever put to music. It’s about the things that shape us, break us, heal us, and keep us moving forward. Bringing these songs to the stage feels like inviting you into that journey with me.”
Tickets for all newly announced tour dates listed below will be available first to Wynation Fan Club members via a presale beginning tomorrow, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m. local time. A general onsale will follow this Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. local time. Thanks to a collaboration with Music Community Foundation, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to The Only Love Fund.
