It’s a big year for burgeoning bluegrass band Mountain Grass Unit, who’ve been gearing up to release their debut album later this summer. Today, they’ve confirmed a brand new headlining tour in support of their upcoming full-length project, which will keep them on the road through the end of the year.
The Alabama-based band’s newly confirmed Appalachian Smoke Tour will kick off on August 17 in Cleveland, Ohio, and will make its way to venues across North America, including stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, Washington, D.C., Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Nashville, where they’ll make their debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage.
The live dates will give fans their first opportunities to hear tracks off Appalachian Smoke, Mountain Grass Unit’s debut album, which is set to arrive on August 28 via Dualtone Records.
